Young Professionals Meet Up at Product Show

The Chapter’s Young Professionals Networking Hour at this year’s Product Show was a hit!  After a day filled with educational presentations and visiting vendor booths, the event was a relaxing way to connect with other young professionals, recent grads and students. Over 50 people with various backgrounds attended, from young professionals working in Boston to students from as far away as New Jersey.

This event was new approach for the YPs compared to previous years, with a focus on connecting with each other instead of a formal presentation.  This format gave everyone the flexibility to talk and learn about topics they are most interested in and network with new people who have similar interests. Conversations overheard covered everything from explaining our jobs in the industry to undergrads to discussing different cutting edge technologies.  Any feedback on this event – and how we might improve it further for next year’s Product Show – would be much appreciated.
