The pressure to drive costs down drives the incentive to innovate up for the MedTech Entrepreneur. On Wednesday, April 17, from 5:30 – 8:30 PM, MDG Boston will host the forum “US Healthcare Economics – Innovating Our Way Out of a Crisis” at Regis College in Weston, MA. This discussion is essential for MedTech developers to understand the economic factors that are driving opportunities within the US Healthcare System.
Jo Ellen Slurzberg, Vice President, Global Health Policy, JR Associate will moderate this Forum. She has developed and implemented complex reimbursement strategies for a spectrum of innovative biomedical, pharmaceutical and medical device technologies in the U.S. and abroad. Distinguished panelists include Jeff Levin-Scherz, MD, MBA, Assistant Professor Health Policy and Management at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and National Co-leader of the Health Management practice, Willis Towers Watson; James Wallace, MBA, President, AmeriPlus Select Services & Senior Researcher, Harvard Business School; and Wendy Zhong, PhD, Principal Health Economist, Boston Scientific.
