New Normal, New Webinar Programming!

The Boston Area Chapter is proud to kick off a series of Thursday webinars in a joint venture with our sister Chapter, Delaware Valley. The first installment on April 23 took as its topic the very reason why webinars have replaced in-person programming: the COVID-19 pandemic. With over 200 attendees tuning in, a group of industry experts described how the industry has assembled in various new collaborative ways to respond to the challenges posed by the pandemic and discussed how the industry might be better enabled in the future.
The panelists’ answers to questions submitted by attendees brought a lively dimension to the proceedings and went a long way toward making attendees feel like they were “in the room” with the panelists. All in all, a great start to what will undoubtedly be a new wave in the Chapter’s programming. And if you were unable to attend, click here to view a recorded version.
Many thanks to those who made this inaugural webinar a success: our distinguished panelists, Steve Fadden, Senior Director Technical Operations at J&J, Georgia Keresty, R&D Chief Operating Officer at Takeda and Marc Pelletier, Director of Process Technology at CRB Consulting Engineers; our skillful moderator Aaron Hubbell; and our generous sponsors, DPS Group, ICQ Consultants and Masy BioServices. And be sure to keep your calendar open for upcoming Thursday webinars:
- “Taking the Guesswork Out of Your Water Purification System” on May 7 at 12pm during which Brian Hagopian of Clear Water Consulting will provide the basics about contaminants, treatment processes, distribution systems, and water quality standards and address common misconceptions about water purification.
- “Biomanufacturing Innovation in a Regulated Industry” on May 21 at 6pm during which a panel of industry experts will discuss opportunities for enhancing the flexibility of our regulatory framework to support the goals of patient access and public safety and take full advantage of innovations in product development and manufacturing
See you online!
