Simply put…a symphony of complementary elements! The June 12th program hit all the right notes for a fun-filled (and informative) evening and a perfect kick-off to summer festivities in New England: ideal weather, exceptional BBQ, full slate of mixed drinks and a sampling bar stocked with all the locally distilled spirits. All while relaxing and networking in the cozy atmosphere that is Boston Harbor Distillery.
After a spirited and energizing networking reception, the technical presentation began on the topic of “Building Code Requirements for Storage & Handling of Flammable & Combustible Liquids” presented by Nick Safina, RA, LEED AP BD+C, Sr. Project Architect at CRB Engineers & Consultants. After a full dose of useful information, the evening concluded with ample time for the enthusiastic group to get home for a disappointing Stanley Cup Game 7. At least the ISPE portion of the evening was a success!
Thank you to presenter Nick Safina for his time and building codes expertise and our sponsors, ICQ Consultants and The DPS Group, for their continued contributions to the Boston Area Chapter.
