As the year draws to a close and we look forward to the upcoming holiday fun, we begin to reflect on the many accomplishments (and challenges) of the past year. And with Thanksgiving fast approaching, we also give thought to the many things we are thankful for. Sharing their thoughts are a few of the Chapter board members:
Eric Felz – “I am thankful for the people who support me. Support from family, friends, colleagues and staff that allow me to be effective. There are so many people – from the ISPE volunteers that work countless hours to the CAMI staff that show dedication to supporting the ISPE mission. In my work life there are mentors, managers and staff that all support the work we do at Takeda. It really does take a village and at this time of year I am thankful for all the people in my life that are there every day to help.”
Kevin Chronley – “I am forever thankful for the relentless adventures that life brings and for all the characters within my family and friends engaged in this trip.”
Sean Burgess – “I am thankful for my friends and family, and close Norwich brothers and sisters at home and overseas during this time of year.”
Caren Jenkins – “I am grateful for my family, dog, good health and working in an amazing industry that changes people’s lives for the better. (And very grateful for chocolate!)”
Kathy Marini – “I am thankful for my friends and family that make every day special (especially my adorable granddaughter Elsie!). I am also blessed to work in an industry that strives to bring medicines and cures to allow us all to live life to its fullest. And finally, I am thankful to work for a company like CRB that sincerely values my contributions.”
Tom Struble – “I’m thankful for my family, good health and the 2nd Edition of ISPE’s Baseline Guide Volume 5!”
Katie Leitch – “I am thankful for my family and friends. I am also thankful to have the privilege to work in an industry that transforms patients’ lives.”
Samir Gondalia – “I’m thankful for my happy, healthy, loving and caring family.”
John Ganley – “I am thankful for my family, for friends, and for quiet times at the lake. I am also thankful for the comradery of the Boston Chapter Board and being able to give back in a small way to the ISPE community.”
In addition, all our board members are grateful for the support of the many Chapter members and volunteers who have donated so much of their time and energy toward making 2019 a successful year. And they would like to thank you in person! So please join them for a free social event on January 16th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. It’s a great opportunity to meet the board members and dozens of other industry colleagues and share a “cup” of holiday cheer. Registration opens soon at www.ISPEBoston.org/Events.
Again, the Chapter thanks you for your help, your support and your dedication, and wishes you many happy returns of the season!
