A Beautiful Day for Fall Golf!

Two weeks ago, we gathered at Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, MA for the annual Fall Golf Tournament. This tournament is held annually to benefit the ISPE Boston Area Chapter Scholarship Foundation, which provides scholarships to students and career professionals alike, who are pursuing a degree in a STEM field in the New England and Albany/Schenectady areas. Participating companies were rewarded with perfect weather for the tournament, and a chance to catch up with friends and colleagues. There was hardly a cloud in the sky, and a light breeze – a big change from our summer golf tournament in August! When players finished their rounds, we all gathered in the clubhouse for a networking cocktail hour, followed by a buffet dinner. Our day would not have been complete without a silent auction at dinner, with all proceeds benefitting the Scholarship Foundation. Throughout the day, we ran several contests along with the overall tournament. Congratulations to our winners:
First Place in the Tournament: Bill Mack, Patrick Schmidt, Jay Longo, and Jeremiah O’Neill
Second Place in the Tournament: Peter Dussault, Luke Griffin, Fran Coffey, and Gene Lane
Third Place in the Tournament: Jerry Nadeau, Sherwood Butler, Rick Donovan, and Matt Zicaro
Closest to the Pin (Women): Brittany Page
Straightest Drive (Women): Eileen Heffernan
Longest Drive (Men): Ben Paris
Longest Drive (Women): Shannon DeMello
Putting Contest: François Bioul
Each of our winners received a gift card for their achievements!
A big thank you goes out to our sponsors, who purchased foursomes at the tournament: Bala Consulting Engineers, Boston Analytical, CAI, Commodore Builders, Consigli Construction, DPS Group, Erland Construction, Exposure 2 Lighting, Fulcrum, Kinetics, Marguiles Perruzzi, Mettler Toledo, Northeast Engineering, Paul Mueller, PM Group, RW Sullivan Engineering, Sentrol, Sequence, Sterling Construction, Superior Controls, Timberline Construction, TRIA, ValSource, and WB Engineers.
An even bigger thank you goes out to those who donated items to our silent auction: Boston Analytical, Commodore Builders, DPS Group, Exposure2Lighting, Lighthouse Electrical Contracting, Northeast Engineering, RW Sullivan, Sentrol, Superior Controls, and TRIA.
Of course, this event would not have taken place without Dan Kenny, our tournament organizer, Bill Mack, the chair of our social committee, Jim Grunwald and Amy Gusky, who planned the silent auction, and Marina Como, our onsite volunteer. Without your hard work and dedication, we wouldn’t have had such a wonderful day.
