No current medical development raises so many opportunities – ranging from cancer treatment, to degenerative disease, to aging itself. To learn more, join the Medical Development Group (MDG) on Monday, April 30 at Regis College Fine Arts Center in Weston, MA for their program “Genomics and epi-Genetics – Impact on Developments in Medicine and Society.” In this program, MDG Boston will highlight the science of genetics and epigenetics. They will give examples of business opportunities that have arrived or are coming shortly, and will present some of the ethical and social implications of the progress in this arena.
The panel includes George Church, PhD, Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School and Founding Member & Director of PersonalGenomes.org. Dr. Church is known for pioneering the fields of personal genomics and synthetic biology and developing methods for the first genome sequencing. Dramatic cost reductions are now driving commercialization opportunities that will dramatically benefit health care on an individual level.
ISPE Boston Area Chapter Members can attend the MDG program at the member/allied rate of $30. Click here for more information and to register.
