The ISPE Boston Area Chapter Scholarship Foundation is proud to offer a merit-based scholarship program honoring Joel Goldenberg, Past President of the Boston Area Chapter. The Scholarship Foundation is supported by charitable contributions from the Boston Area Chapter and others, and has awarded 105 scholarships to date, totaling over $125K.
Individual awards of up to $2,000 are available for qualified applicants pursuing formal education in STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), with preference given to applicants who are pursuing or engaged in careers that support the development and operation of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical enterprises.
Applying is Easy. Applicants are asked to complete an online application with information about their educational program, community service activities, involvement with ISPE (if any) and future career plans. One written reference is also required to be submitted electronically. There are two due dates for applications each year: June 1st and November 1st. Since completed applications require a written reference, applicants are encouraged to begin the process well in advance of the due date.
Who is eligible? ISPE membership is not required. Students pursuing a degree, certificate or continuing education credits are all eligible to apply.
• Undergrad and grad students must be enrolled in an accredited college or university associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree program and registered in a credit-bearing course or courses to which the scholarship award would be applied.
• Continuing education students and those in certificate programs must be enrolled in a credit- or CEU-bearing course at an accredited college, university, association or institution.
