Volunteers Meet for First Committee Meeting of Product Show 2019

The first committee meeting of the 2019 Product Show took place on Monday, December 3 at Flatbread’s Pizza & Bowling in Brighton, MA. This first meeting is an opportunity for volunteers both new and old to meet and to go over what’s in store for the coming planning year. This year, the Product Show Committee looks to streamline the attendee registration and lead retrieval processes, improve traffic flow via two entrances, and reach new audiences with an expanded marketing plan. The committee will also be assisting the Educational Programs Committee in planning the Chapter’s inaugural Spring Conference – an all-day educational event featuring a keynote luncheon presentation, multi-track educational offerings, a networking reception and awards ceremony, and the annual student poster competition. The Spring Conference will take place on April 10th so be sure to save the date!

Volunteers enjoyed a variety of Flatbread’s delicious brick-oven pizzas, brownie sundaes, and local brews as new Product Show Committee Chair Jesse McLaughlin led the group in discussion of the areas of focus for the 2019 Product Show. Committee members ended the night with team-building by having some good old fashioned competition on our two private candlepin bowling alleys! It was a close game with Jesse McLaughlin winning by just two points over new Exhibitor Sub-committee Chair Kevin Mitchell.
