Fall Social Highlights Friendship and “Life Sciences Cares”

The Annual Fall Social was full of energy with hugs, handshakes and the clinking of glasses as attendees convened on Thursday, October 25 at Meadhall in Cambridge. Over 100 attendees joined together to celebrate Autumn Harvest & ISPE Community (this year’s Fall Social theme) and enjoy connecting with friends and colleagues both old and new. The fall décor and cozy loft space made Meadhall the perfect location for this event.
Attendees also let their creativity run wild as they participated in the Well Wishes for Cradles to Crayons activity put on by local foundation Life Sciences Cares. Life Science Cares is a collective effort of the life science industry to address the impact of poverty and inequality on our neighbors in the greater Boston area. The Well Wishes activity was an opportunity for attendees to share colorful drawings, encouraging quotes, and funny jokes on cards that go to children in the Cradles to Crayons program.
Our fall 50/50 raffle also benefited Life Science Cares and it was wonderful to have the LSC volunteers onsite to share information with attendees about their efforts. Attendees were able to raise $300 in raffle ticket sales by the end of the night! ISPE member Gregg Conboy of Erland Construction won the 50/50 raffle and, in the spirit of giving, graciously donated his winnings to Life Science Cares.
