This month the Boston Area Chapter continued its annual tradition by welcoming the New Year at Blazing Paddles on Thursday, January 25. ISPE Members and guests brought their “A” game, competing in ping pong, networking and snacking on delicious appetizers.
With multiple athletes playing in the tournaments, fellow colleagues and friends cheered them on, took a few swings at the Official Red Sox Visitors’ batting cage and casually tossed a few bean bags for cornhole. There were many skilled players but there could only be three winners. The lucky three? Third place went to Edgar Rivera-Hernandez of RoviSys who donated his winnings to the charity of the night, second place went to Alireza Heidari of R.W. Sullivan Engineering, and the first place winner was Ravi Krishna of Acorda Therapeutics.
The 50/50 raffle for this year’s event benefited The Red Sox Foundation. This worthy charitable organization serves the education, recreation and health needs of children and families in need across New England. The Chapter would like to thank all who attended and the generous sponsors who helped make this event a success: Boston Analytical, Commissioning Agents and DPS Group.
We hope to see you all again next year. And in the meantime, be sure to register for the next Chapter get together: the Annual Ski Trip on March 2.
