Women in Pharma Brought Their Own Sunshine on a Cloudy Day!

On Wednesday, August 4th, a small group of Women in Pharma members braved the 50% chance of rain to meet up and share some smiles on the second Women in Pharma walk of the year! The clouds were rolling in but that was not going to stop them! Ten women met up at the beautiful, adventurous trails of Horn Pond right nearby in Woburn. Seven were new to Women in Pharma events. Jane Kepros and Marisa Sposato are regulars that we always love to see! It is also so refreshing to meet new faces: Jen Capobianco, Maria Koulopoulus, and Patricia Gallagher were all new to the event and all shared similar, complementary careers in life science that help with the build out and planning of labs including disaster recovery. Christine Felice, also new to WIP events, is a technical writer specializing in CMC. Susan Gamboa is a student at Northeastern and was excited to be a part of her first Women in Pharma event as she is studying biotechnology in Boston. We had such a great time laughing, smiling, and sharing our stories. It was so amazing to meet such beautiful women inside and out!
