3 Takeaways from ISPE Boston’s 2022 Product Show

With the annual ISPE Boston Product Show behind us, the Product Show Committee chairs (Victor Taubinger and Laura Berberian) want to take a minute to reflect on some of the highlight’s from this year’s show:

1. Most well attended show ~

The Product Show opened for registration in early August and attendees started rolling in. In fact, so many attendees preregistered that the committee had to make a few last-minute additions to the food orders the week of the show, anticipating the biggest turn-out. That predication came true, as the Product Show smashed the previously held record, with over 4,100 life sciences professionals stopping by Gillette last Wednesday. Feedback from the show has been exceedingly positive, with many people coming up to us talking about the vendors they met with and new ideas they have to bring back for active projects.

2. Innovative technology and idea exchange ~

The heart of the Product Show is the Exhibitor show floor showcasing over 375 vendors, but attendees are also able to round out their day with education and networking events. This year we had educational sessions focusing on some of the newest technology (raise your hand if you saw Spot). In addition to that, attendees participated in engaging discussions through ISPE Boston’s other committees including Women in Pharma, Veterans in Pharma, and EDEI. These networking events give industry professionals an opportunity to discuss the state of the industry and explore potential career paths.

3. People make ISPE great ~

Speaking of networking, ISPE Boston would not be as successful without the help of the volunteers and CAMI staff. A huge thank you to this year’s Product Show committee for their countless hours and innovative ideas to continue to improve the show. In addition, the show brings together volunteers from all over ISPE Boston to make the show the best one-day event in the biopharma industry. This year we celebrated the 30^th anniversary of the show, and there were many stories told from volunteers who have been with ISPE Boston for 10, 20, and even 30+ years. Their dedication and enthusiasm for the organization inspires all of us.
